ROTER BIKINI / RED BIKINI
Als wir ab 1967 im Osten Kanadas lebten, konnte man dort im Textilbereich noch nicht alles kaufen. Vergebens suchte ich nach einem neuen Badeanzug. Nichts gefiel mir, was dort angeboten wurde. Dann musste mein Mann nach Europa fliegen. Von dort brachte er mir, ohne dass ich es auf die Einkaufsliste gesetzt hatte, diesen zweiteiligen roten Badeanzug mit. Zuerst war ich skeptisch wegen der Farbe und der Größe. Er passte tadellos, und ich weihte ihn auf unserem ersten Urlaub auf P.E.I. (Prince Edward Island) ein. Über viele Jahre blieb er mein Lieblingsbadeanzug.
When we lived in the eastern part of Canada in 1967, one could not get a whole lot as far as textiles were concerned. I actually didn’t like anything that was offered there. Then my husband had to travel to Europe. From there he brought me this red bathingsuit, without me having put it on the shopping list. At first I was a bit sceptical because of the coulor and the size. But it fit perfectly and I wore it for the first time on our vacation in P.E.I. (Prince Edward Island). It became my favourite bathing suit for many years.
